The Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications was established in 1990, continuing the academic tradition which started in 1977 within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering through the Electronics and Telecommunications Section. In 2005, the faculty modifies its name, becoming the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
