Romanians from all over the world are the persons belonging to national minorities, linguistic minorities or indigenous Romanian ethnic groups or who belong to the Romanian cultural and ethnic lineage, living in the states neighboring Romania and in other states, who claim the Romanian ethnic, linguistic and cultural identity to the Romanian authorities, regardless of the ethnonym used; Romanian emigrants, regardless of whether they have retained Romanian citizenship or not, their descendants, as well as Romanian citizens with domicile or residence abroad; ethnics who recognize themselves as of Romanian origin, located outside the country’s borders, registered as another minority in the state of residence, who claim, through self-identification, that they belong to the Romanian cultural and identity frame.
For admission to the 2026–2027 academic year, the provisions of the Methodology regarding the study conditions for Romanians Everywhere and foreign citizens within accredited public, private, and private confessional higher education institutions in Romania, approved by Order No. 5.552/2024, shall apply.
Candidate registration will be carried out online. Candidates are solely responsible for correctly uploading/submitting on the platform all the documents required by the Methodology regarding the education of Romanians from abroad in state higher education institutions in Romania.
Confirmation of the study place will be carried out in accordance with the Admission Regulations. The original documents must be presented in physical format at the beginning of the academic year. Failure to upload/submit the requested documents on the platform and failure to present the original documents in physical format within the required deadlines will result in the loss of the place obtained through the admission process.
Candidates assume responsibility for the authenticity and correspondence between the digital/scanned documents and the original documents that will later be submitted to the candidate’s file by checking the corresponding statement in the online admission platform.
